This variant of European Blackjack rules has in play four 52 card decks and they are always fully shuffled after each hand. On the table you will see five different playing positions and you are free to choose to play from one to all five of them in each game and therefore each hand played is a separate wager against the dealer.

The aim of the game of European Blackjack is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or have a hand that is higher than the dealer. The rules stipulate that the Dealer is obliged to hit on all hands totalling 16 or less and stand on all hands totalling 17 or more.

To begin a game of Blackjack you first need to choose how much you want to wager and how many hands you want to play and then place your wager or wagers on to the Blackjack table.

After you have chosen your wagers your next task is to simply your start the game by clicking on the Deal button.

Two cards will then be dealt to each player position that has a wager placed on it and then two cards will be dealt to the dealer. One of the dealer's cards remains face down and all other cards are turned face up.

Once the last card is turned face up you are able to either Hit or Stand your hand and when applicable you are able to Split the hand, Double the hand of accept the Insurance wager if it has been offered due to the Dealer holding an Ace card.

Should your hand contain an Ace and a 10 or a face card then you have a Blackjack hand and you will instantly win should the Dealer not match it

Should however the value of your hand exceed 21 then you have lost or bust and this hand will be removed by the Dealer and play automatically moves to the next available hand.
